I do league shooting at our local trap club. The 'spring' league starts in early March. Checked my shotshell inventory and have a couple flats left from last year when I found them on sale for ~6 bucks a box. Happened to be at our local Sportsman's Warehouse and checked to see what current prices were; they had zero trap/skeet loads for sale. Same thing at Cabelas/Bass Pro. Checked with the guys on the team and they said that such ammo and 209 primers are not available from any other sources in our area.
We might have a limited trap league this year!

The same here in SE PA. The shelves are empty.
Over the years most of the guys I shoot with sold their presses because factory shells were available and cheap. Now nothing is available and the only option is reloading. The way it looks now I will be shooting all by myself....not good.

I agree things are looking bleak. I've got about 3000 rounds. But they go quick shooting ATA & league. I buy whatever I can find & I'm always looking.

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Lads, there be a reason to reload this stuff. If you're a sport you can even do it with Large Pistol Primers and BP.

This shell shortage is Deff worse on the shotgun side than the last one. There are youth teams looking for multi Pallet orders to keep the season open. And local easy to get supplies of 4 box pack deals are gonzo. Its going to effect local shooting for clays in the spring for sure. Really grateful for the MEC 9000 I bought 20 years ago. Cant imagine using pistol primers in a shotgun shell. WAY to scarce to consider those for clays!!!
I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

They had some Remington Gun Clubs at Bass Pro yesterday. Hard to believe that with the shortage issues and Remington being sold off in parts that Gun Clubs are the shells to hit the shelves. They were priced over $8/box.
