OP Bugger Campfire Outfitter Joined: May 2014 Posts: 10,406 NE South Dakota	Up for sale is an older 760 in 30-06 The checkering on it looks hand cut to me, but you 760 experts please correct me if I'm wrong. The LOP is 13.25". A recoil pad has been added. A Weaver style base is included. Price is $500 plus shipping. Your FFL must accept from a non-FFL. I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

OP Bugger Campfire Outfitter Joined: May 2014 Posts: 10,406 NE South Dakota	I honestly do not know much about the early 760's. The fore-end isn't 100%, but I think the rifle is worthy. When I took it in, the recoil pad was toast and the one that is on it, I installed. That recoil pad is in good but used shape. The finish on the butt stock was shot also. I removed the finish and put many coats of Linseed Oil on it. I'll be leaving it on 24CF for a day or two. If it doesn't sell I'll put it on Guns International. I have more 30-06's than I need, so I need to sell a few. The other 760 I had on here for a while didn't sell and I was offered $50 more then my asking price on GI, which is weird. I prefer classic.
