Fairly cheap thrill.

I took some "petite sirloin" beef steak, sliced into strips about 5/8" thick, wrapped with thick bacon, dumped red salsa over it... Roasted all day then gave it some high heat to char the exposed bacon and tomato.... Finger food roasted beef bacon and char. Pretty good potential. Maybe with some pasta and toast next time.

Been pretty happy with making a pizza (smoked clams and oysters!) on whole grain sour dough bread... As a left over, flop it in a frying pan to crispen up. Crazy good stuff.

Looks good Paul.

I'm thinking another month and I'll have some of that 'sparragus" coming up here. Still a bit chilly at night, 17F here when I woke this morning. But, days are starting to get into the 50's!

We just got a beef and a whether back from the butcher Richard.

Bought a couple hoggetts last year from a local producer. The roast in the picture is from one of them.

That whether we had butchered had been on barley for 45 days. Hope its good.
