I love 7-08’s. I can’t decide if I want one with nice lumber or a ultra light rifle.

I love 7-08’s. I can’t decide if I want one with nice lumber or a ultra light rifle. Obviously, you need both. One with some sweet walnut that you can admire while sitting in a tree stand on a beautiful fall day and one for the test of the time.

I had a 7mm-08 as my first deer rifle. Unfortunately, I was at the age where it was bought for me by my dad, who also chose to sell it soon after.
I eventually replaced it with the same rifle, but in a 270. I’ll have at least 1 more 7-08 soon. Best short action caliber ever made for deer.

Same rifle as above with a different sack of pork chops.. This one looks surprised.

That's a great looking rifle, JGRaider. What are the particulars?
Well, reckon I can suss out the caliber, and I think its a Remington, but otherwise? Haha

That's actually a McWhorter built on a 700 action. It's a really fine, accurate rifle that shoots lots of different bullets very well.
