Looking for tips on how to improve the accuracy of the Winchester 94 in 30-30. Whether it’s tips for tuning up the gun or shooting techniques from the bench.

Thanks

Make sure the buttstock is tight. Rest the receiver on the front bag and hold the forend with your left hand. Enjoy it for what it is and don’t obsess over minutia.

Some improvement often occurs by relieving pressure on the barrel due to the forend/barrel-band/magazine connection. Doesn't matter exactly which "traditional" lever-action it is, whether any of the various Winchester models, or Marlins, or whatever. I described these techniques in my chapter on the .348 Winchester in the first Big Book of Gun Gack.

I noticed the 94 can be ammo picky so try several loads.

And the forend "bedding" is often why they're picky.
