UNCCGrad Campfire Regular U Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 2,282	Week was good, day was crap. Had someone hit a girder on a bridge over the interstate hauling a 210 excavator on a flatbed. Not sure how he got it loaded (it was a Sunbelt rental) or why he chose to use a flatbed anyway, but it ripped the track hoe off the trailer. By the grace of God it landed tracks down and spun down the interstate without flipping. Never seen the amount of damage to a girder like that. Completely sheared the web where the diaphragms were hard welded. Luckily not enough damage to close the interstate but that bridge will be shut down for a while. Could have been much worse.
