Looks like you can buy the cheekpiece as an accessory now, might have to look into that.

I'm not a big Tikka fan, but the Forest model looks pretty sharp. (Though there's something just not right about a walnut/blued gun with a plastic trigger guard.)

IMHO Tikka offers the best value for an accurate rifle righto out of the box. Clearly they know what they are doing.

If you have ever looked at the older Tikkas from back in the 1980s, those were the real nice ones...

I have both a wood stocked Tikka and a Win. Model 70. Actually prefer the Tikka and probably shoots better Win. too.

IMHO Tikka offers the best value for an accurate rifle righto out of the box. Clearly they know what they are doing. I just don't get the lack of finish on a walnut gun that's clearly not intended to be weatherproof. How hard would *metal* bottom metal be on just the walnut/blued that they're billing as traditional?? (And you kids get off my lawn!!! 😇😂)
