Mac,

Here's what it looks like out of a 24" barrel:

Thanks, had a Sig 100 that was accurate but heavy. Sold it and now have a Mossberg Patriot Predator I like. Have loaded/shot H1000 w/130 Accubond and 129 ABLR less than an inch but no cigar. The stuff Antelope Sniper sent indicate a 2.955 oal and I'll shoot for that (no pun) be may be limited by short action/box. Thinking of starting at 56 of R26 and go up in 1/2 gr. Increment til I get pressure signs/back off to last and take it slowly if at all up from there .1 at a time. See what I get.

I'm shooting a Mauser M18 with 140's at 2.950 and Hornady brass, I would start lower than 56....just saying.

Hove used both in the PRC with140's...R26 is about 100 ft./sec faster. Both in my rifles shoot about the same accuracy with maybe a slight edge to H 1000. Both are getting impossible to find.
