Just curious how many people that usually got the yearly flu shot decided to get China vaccine? By and large the people I know who always got a yearly flu shot got the Covid-19 vaccine this year.

No shots for me. I’ve had the flu, both domestic and Chinese version. Don’t plan on receiving any shots. I’d rather get rabies shots. Spent my whole childhood scared of getting bit by a rabid animal and having to suffer through the dozen shots in the belly. That should put things in perspective. Lol

Most everyone at our house is leery.

One daughter did get the vaccine, she's fine.

Been getting flu shot last 8-10 years. Cannot remember last time I had the flu. Will get the corona shot when it’s available.

I get the flu shot, but not in any hurry to get the C19 one! Why get it if you can still get Covid!

myself and my wife got the 1rst vaccine shot about a month ago, the 2nd shot last
Thursday, about 18 hrs. later we both started feeling like crap. We have been
sick with flu like symptoms, muscle aches, lack of energy since. It is Sat. afternoon.
Waiting for it to get better.

Have never taken a flu shot 60 years old.And have no plans to take the vaccine.

My wife nor I either one take flu shots. My PA recommended it. Said it was about 60% effective at reducing flu symptoms. We dont socialize much so just take our chances and so far so good. As far as the China flu, I won't buy a car in the first year of a new model. Think I will wait a while and decide later.

Have had flu shots each year for the last 4 or 5 years. After reading the thread here and looking at headstones in cemetery's It appeared to be a no brainer.

Had our last china flu shot on Thursday the 25th. Did not even have any soreness in the arm either time. It seems like a wise choice to me.

Those others carry on. You are free to make your own decision.

It's interesting that people believe this shot for the Covid-19 is a vaccine..... it's not. It's not like any other flu shot. This shot will not keep you from getting covid-19, nor will it keep you from spreading covid-19, if you get it. This shot, if it works as it should, will only make the symptoms less severe. A steroid shot will do just about the same thing.... make the symptoms less severe.

If it were a true vaccine, it would prevent the sickness, like the polio, smallpox, and scarlet fever vaccines. Those diseases were just about wiped out in the US, because of the vaccines. Of course we are seeing a rise in these diseases because of the influx of people from 3rd world countries and because some parents think these vaccines are not necessary any more.

Take the shot if you want to, but dont expect miracles.
