The guy I bought the powder from above has been in business since 1988. Yeah, I'm not leery.

I bought all these 2 weeks ago at 25% over what was for the last several years "retail". In today's world, I would call that a "deal".

yes, I would call that a deal also

When all this is over the pawn shops will be flooded with guns again.

Nobody with an FFL voted for Biden.

I'm afraid these ammo prices are going to be the new norm, much like masks.

My buddy called me with the great deal he found on 9mm ammo at $.70 a round. He bought 2000 rounds. I refuse...

I picked up an eight pounder of 4320 last week at my range for $200. They have been and continue to be very fair on pricing. I picked up two boxes of PPU 308 Match 168 gr HP BT for $17.50/box as well.

I went to a local gun show last weekend. Bought 5# powder for $100 from one guy. Got 2.5 bags of 12ga wads for $10. Bought a like new in box CZ 20ga O/U including 16 boxes of 20ga shells for $550. I did well with guys I talked to and wanted to sell. Sure some things were marked up but I thought it was worth going.

Normally, I will hit a few of the local pawn shops after deer season and Christmas is over, looking to see what people pawned afterwards. There was literally nothing this year to be found.

I did not pre plan.
But have plinkers in the fam, so bought some now and then to just have extra for some fun summer days.

At the current prices i might dump a bit of it.
Sell some spare ammo to fund a new scope.
Sold one .22 rifle that liked a specific brand/ type of ammo.
My rifle and my old ladys rifle do not like it.
Was 62 bucks a brick. Before panic.

Only reason im keeping it is if i order a new Anschutz.
It might like it.

Picked up a couple boxes of 9mm last week.
Middle daughter wants to learn to run my P30L.
Paid reg price, but was limited to 2 boxes a visit.
There was some on the shelf
No I did not call my kid to come right over and snag 2 boxes.

I was in that shop for something else.

Was not gonna clean em out/ be greedy.
Proly could have resold for twice what I paid.

Never have given a chit about money.

Guns shows = some fat bastid, thats to lazy to work choking down a burger. Another group is offended if you ask them about a Winchester rifle. Then there is a few that are good guys.

I just avoid these shows, and the people in them... have for years...

I have no problem these guys charging whatever they want, they sure aren't getting any of my money...

I'm not desperate like my family will die tomorrow if I don't have what they are selling at the prices they are asking..

I watched an auction on gunbroker for a 1lb bottle of Winchester 748 powder. When the auction ended, the selling price was $68.

It's insane right now, was in a gunshop in west tx a few weeks ago, Mosin 91/30's were $550 they had an M44 for over 900. 7.62x39 fmj's were over a dollar a round, 9mm was 50 a box. Needless to say I didn't buy anything because I wasn't in the need but you can't blame the guys for their prices, the guy at the counter said people don't even blink at paying a dollar a round for 9 he has guys come in and buy hundreds of dollars of it at that price.

Saw a super clean 1100 12 ga standard, old RKW type.
Fixed choke VR mod.

It was at LGS at 799.

I thought that too high. Bet it sold for 750 plus tax.
Would not play that for a minty magnum.

My LGS doesnt scalp, but w change in inventory....they aint selling ammo in volume or at silly prices....so gotta make it up somewhere else.

If the market allows it so be it.
