Tried to buy it but he said shipping was going to be too expensive to upstate, ny. I thought I was paying for the shipping... SMH

There are a lot more ½" rifles than ½" shooters.

I always have guys backing out of deals because UPS shipping is $25-30. I am also not too sure on regulations for shipping ammo to NY state. Between the SAFE act, and other information I saw saying you have to have a license, I didn't want to risk it. I apologize

I shipped ammo to ny last month. My understanding was that it could not be shipped to the five boroughs. Otherwise the rest of the state is still legal.

that is not true. Buds, Target Sports and SGA have all shipped directly to my home and I'm sure thousands of others without going through an FFL.

It's your ammo and your choice on who you want to sell to, but you're cutting out a pretty good pool of potential buyers.

Remember, Abraham Lincoln said you can't believe everything you read on the internet. wink

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Of course, but I can't get an answer either way. Some places ship direct, other only ship to an FFL. Can't find anything other than the Safe Act and I couldn't determine if that was for the whole state of just NYC. Not sure why I'm getting demonized for trying to cover my butt. I would like to sell the ammo, just not too keen on shipping to states with regulations.
