Raining big time here. Also had a tornado warning off to the west about an hour ago. Way too early for that stuff.

I sure hope the spring rains don't skip us again. We've had several dry ones in a row and really need the water. There are a few spots in Idaho that have about average snowpack but most of it is well below average.

We had a relatively dry November, December, and January, but February has been wet, and it's rained about 2 inches overnight, with more on the way today.

Our 10 inches of snow about gone, well above 40 w sunshine.

Let the floods begin.

I dont do the saugeye deal at local res when first flood drops. Pretty much stay out of the water til May and rhen bowfish for carp.

But I know some hardcore saugeye chasers that will.be out trying after first flood drop

Usually March is when the @#$%^& burr buttercups start coming up. They 1st showed up here maybe 6 or 7 years ago and they've taken over everywhere. It's warm enough for them but Roundup and 2-4-D don't work very well in these temps.

After a warm fall like January, February felt more like winter! March, will hopefully bring moisture that we could use.
