OP 10gaugemag Campfire Ranger 1 Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 18,881 Missouri	For you all that shoot CFE 223 do you find it to work best with light, medium or heavier weight bullets in the 223? I picked up most of 2# from a guy selling out of 223 loading components last night and thought I might give it a whirl. Last edited by 10gaugemag; 02/26/21. boatanchor Campfire Tracker B Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 3,652 Utah	Surprisingly CFE223 is almost too slow of a burn rate for a 223...........it is at its best with the heavies from 69gr up and is almost useless with a 40grainer

Velocity of 3600fps out of the 26" barrel of the Browning Low Wall, boringly reliable sub-1/2MOA accuracy. (It's an older rifle with 1-12" twist that definitely likes light bullets.)
