I have a HVA 1640 action with Dakota 3-position safety installed, also have the original bolt shroud. The action with safety weighs 38 ounces. The trigger guard and bottom metal are an alloy, and the front action screw is a little messed up from a screwdriver slip.Unfortunately, I do not have the trigger for this action it had an aftermarket trigger that was non functioning when I bought it and the cutout in the tang for the original safety has been filled in but looks reversible. I'm told a Timney # 201 or 301 trigger should work with this action,

I'm asking $500 shipped to your FFL from a non-FFL for the action, safety and original bolt shroud.

I also have available for purchase an Albright trapdoor butt plate if wanted with this action for an additional $100.

Here are some of the pictures, I have a lot more if you provide me with an email.

The Timney #201 trigger doesn't have a safety so it should work with the 3 position Dakota. If you already happen to have a #301 trigger just put the original bolt shroud on. I hope that answers your question.

I’ll take the buttplate for $100, if you’ll sell that separately.

The butt plate is only going with the action. I'll probably keep it if the buyer doesn't want it. These parts all came together with the exception of the Dakota safety, I installed that.

Feel free to make an offer or throw out a trade. Worst I can do is say no.

I will trade plus cash either way. What I'm looking for is 10X42 range finding binoculars like Leica Geovids, 65mm spotting scope, VX3-VX6 optics maxing out no more than 18X power on the top end, and also a .308 Win bolt action rifle with threaded muzzle and a barrel that's 20" or shorter. If you happen to have a M700/Clone barreled action in .308 I can use that as well as I have a stock for it.
