I've got an older Volquartsen Superlite 17 HMR. It has a muzzle brake (why?) that's threaded 13/16-20.

I called them to get a thread protector and they don't make or have any anymore.

I'd love to get an adapter that would let me screw on a 1/2-28 threaded can.

Any ideas?
