All politicians lie. It's what they do best. Anyone thinking that any politician really cares about you or your rights is just delusional. They care about getting their hands on our $. They care our quiet subjugation. They used to care about our vote but that is no longer necessary. They care about their agenda, their power and their $. That's it. The most we can hope for is a politician whose own agenda will be the least damaging to us. We are just pawns in their game to be manipulated, moved around the board to suit their goals and removed from the board when that best suits their game. Just try to watch CSPAN for a couple hours if you can stomach it. I tried yesterday and didn't last long.
