Rough Rider has a 9shot option, might interest some as well as a 22/22mag cylinder option. The trigger squeeze feels better too. I'm still thinking Wrangler for myself personally though because the extra safety annoys me. And I believe long term the Wrangler finish will hold up better. We will see I guess. Both are good $$ values in my book.
I have one of each and to be honest I like them both. The Rough Rider seems to be a little more accurate at 25yds but it's barrel is almost 2" longer. Triggers are about the same. I think the Rough Rider would chip if knocked against something, but then the Ruger would scratch. For me I guess it comes down to which barrel length and finish do you want.
