I have no idea why it is that in this day and age we have fairly common magazine, feeding and extraction/ejection issues. None of this crap is cutting edge design.

I’m not sure what happened, but it seemed like they know what the issue was and sent me the parts right away. Basically, you just push out a couple roll pins, put in the new parts, and drive the pins back in.

Yea plungers aren't a big deal to swap out. Just seems crazy that it's necessary on a higher end rifle. Especially since they don't have to deal with CRF timing, etc.

Paul - I know the brake is removable. Does it come with a cover?

I think it’s does.

But if it did, i lost mine. Which Is prolly the case.

I bought a LH 6.5cm Mesa when they first hit the street.

I like it.

I think the price is less than the sum of the parts. You get a lot , IMO for $1200. ($250 more for LH).

I’d bought another’s if they’d done the 6.5 prc sooner.

Mine did not come with a thread cover. Or, I should have checked the box more thoroughly.

I’ve got a Mesa in 6.5 PRC, zero issues and shoots everything very well.

It’s in the box in a little bag, at least mine was.

They told me when I called them that their source for springs sent them a bad batch.

Kind of an ugly one. I don't like the brake, so I removed it and had a smith make me a matching thread protector. It looks great. It blends so well that unless you are looking for it, you can't tell its there.

Have you hand loaded for it yet? If so, any good loads you'd recommend?

I'm on my second Ridgeline. Frankly not that impressed. Mine have not shot up to their $1900-ish price tag. MOA but no better.

My first was a 6.5 PRC, current is a 6.5 Creedmoor. Pondering ordering a barrel and doing a build on the CM vs just selling it.

Also have a 6.5 creed mesa and really like it. With a 3.5-10 Leupold it sits right under 8 pounds which to me at least is perfect.

Orally you can buy new Ridgeline for $1750. I have one in 280 ai that shoots great. I also have a ELR in 28 nosler that has shot some incredible groups but doesn't always shoot that way. I need to do some more load development.

I've been looking at their Ranger 22 lately. If I can find some info on them shooting well I'll buy one. I like that it takes 10/22 mags.

Yeah I’m loading 139 Scenars in Hornady brass with 56 gr of RL26, CCI 200’s , get 3060 FPS. Very accurate. It shot both the factory loads just as well but I put more confidence in the Lapuas rather than the Hornady bullets.

The 6.5 PRC weighs a little more than the Creed. Mine weighs 8 pounds 12 ounces with a Meopro 4.5-14x50.

I went and checked the box. It just has the rifle, bolt, manual, a small pack of lubricant, and some ear plugs. It’s ok. Probably just leave the brake on there.

I have a Traverse in 300 WSM, best fitting rifle I ever handled. Puts 2 shots touching, throws third one, it could be me. A buddy pulled the action and bedded it. The muzzle blast from the side discharge brake is bad. I hope i can work a few of these things out.

I took my 300 out today. The brake isn’t obnoxious and recoil wasn’t much worse than a 270. All I had was some 180gr Fusion to try. 3-shot groups under 2 inches at 200 were no problem. 5-shot groups at 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Certainly good hunting accuracy for normally inexpensive ammo.
