Need some help here for those that really know hats. What kind of type, model, name, nomenclature is this hat?? Not necessarily looking for a military name unless that is all there is. Don’t need whatever you call the tassels. Is it a Drifter Buffalo Hat? Something else? It’s not a John Wayne Peacemaker for sure. Amongst reenactors is is commonly known as a slouch hat. Thats what it would have been called back in the day.
