Back in the '70's, I was trapping beaver and fur prices were low. I started tanning them, sewing on a backing, and selling them for throw rugs. I didn't get rich, but made it thru the winter, just hunting, fishing, and trapping.

I've had many fur teddy bears made for grandkids, mink and beaver. Had a mink jacket made for my wife. My only contribution was the raw furs and cash. ;-{>8

Lotsa folks hunt beavers and many are trapped by them. Mostly they end up making children.

I want to see (buy) a fur lined leather soft rifle case. I think that would be the perfect accessory for a beautiful custom rifle. Impractical? Maybe, but “need’s got nothin’ to do with it”.
