I CANT STAND THE GANG MENTALITY THAT IS SO PREVALENT ON THE WWW THESE DAYS. IF THE ROLES WERE REVERSED, EVERYONE OF YOU WOULD BE ON THE OTHER SIDE. IF SOMEONE CANT UNDERSTAND THE SIMPLE CONCEPT OF DECLINING INSURANCE COVERAGE BY THE BUYER, I CANT MAKE IT ANYMORE CLEAR. IVE ALREADY REQUESTED TO BE BANNED FROM THESE FORUMS. That sucks.
I've had USPS screw me before. They are less than helpful, even with insurance.
Fact is, until the product is in the purchasers hand, you are on the hook. You received to money, but he didn't receive the product.
At least that's how I look at doing business. Can't see it any other way?

When I sell an item on this or any forum's classifieds, I don't consider the payment to be "mine" until the buyer lets me know that his purchase has arrived and that he is pleased with it. Only then will I cash the check, m.o. or whatever. It's the only way to do business.

You should have insured it for your own value.
Tape job while a lot was there it was not the right tape for what was shipped.
Maybe everyone will learn that when shipping that you need to tale into account the folks handling the package.
Refund his money.

The Box Traylor, Your argument was that i didnt wrap tape around the box and that all the tape asode from the duct tape on the spine was placed on the box was from the PO, correct. You even called me a liar when i stated that every box was double wrapped in packing tape before being shipped. Well, look at my ORIGINAL shipping label. What do you think caused that rippling effect? Yep, the two layers of packing tape UNDERNEATH! Whose the liar now [bleep].
