Good read. Thanks for posting. Although by showing approval of it, that probably makes me guilty of "Russian Collusion".

We have enemies abroad, but the ones domestic are the first order of business, as they are the most clear and present danger. Russia was not always communist, and not always our enemy. We would do well to cautiously work toward such a state again. If our government were honest, it would happen.

There's a great movie, Citizen X, about a Russian serial killer who preyed on children. The Soviet's denied that serial killers could exist in their utopia.

Russia is a recovering Christian nation. Same for Poland. Same for Hungary. All three are hated by the EU and America. Well, except that Poland let's us put our military bases right next to Russia *purely for defensive purposes*.

I would think the way the left hates Russia they are probably the rights closest allies. I often get that idea because I consider China our biggest threat but the left is in bed with them.

I have been saying for four years, It is not Joe Stalin's Russia any more.

The basic bones of our culture have more in common with Russia than any other major nation or ethnic group.

Russia SHOULD be our strongest ally in the coming years.

Be careful what you accept as truth from the Russians, they are not the worlds finest chess masters because they think in two dimensions. You may not want to forget that they killed 23,000,000 of their own people between 1918 and 1953. I don't think that two men, Lenin and Stalin did that by themselves...they employed the worlds largest bureaucracy of common Russians to impose terror on themselves. Brutality and inhuman savagery are just below the surface, waiting to come to the surface. The historical neighbors of the Russians can tell us all we need to know of a thousand years of Russian domination. Does the leopard change his spots?

As someone who grew up during the Cold War, it is extremely very hard to side with anything pertaining to Russia. I sincerely hope they have thrown away Communism completely, and have become what so many on here believe. But, as much as I mistrust Russia, I totally detest the Chicoms. China is not our friend, while Russia possibly could be.

I don’t think Russia is ever going to be our friend...but our futures are along the same road so we can coexist


Not the case with the chinks

I’ve spent a good amount of time in Russia after communism failed. They came to terms with Stalin long before communism failed. They cancelled him from their history just like our cancel culture is doing in or country today to our past. In Moscow you could go any number of museums and they celebrated all their past leaders but it was though Stalin never existed. They figured out their corrupt leaders out a long time ago just like we have. Most Russians are just like us, extremely patriotic and hoping for a better life. I didn’t say working for a better life. In reality communism never failed. The Russians love it as it’s all they ever knew . They had no jobs, money or future but simply can’t comprehend initiative and integrity to start their own business so they simply sit on their ass and waited for government to tell them what to do and when to do it. Communism never failed but they did figure out how to get an awful lot of foreign investment to bail them out. Damn sounds sorta like Democrats in bed with the Chinese in or country today except our cancel culture is not even slightly patriotic.
