I was just curious if anybody here runs Hunt Tests or Field Trials with their retrievers? We just got a MH while qualifying for the Master National. And now have started to train for the Qual.

I haven't done any yet, but I'm working towards it. I want to get my Golden some real birds and do some tests in the spring. I'm led to understand that that's kinda the wrong order of things, but a huntin' dawg's highest calling is huntin'--not testin'.

Man, I was tempted, but I simply don't have the time it takes.
Congrats on your Master Hunter!

Thanks, we have a lot of work to do to get ready for the Qual, it's a big step up from the Master.
