Went to Discount Tire today to get some new tires....they didnt have the BFG Allterrain that I like but tried to sell me some Goodyear "at a good price". Told then to keep their WOKE tires and order me some BFGs, I'll wait. For what its worth...Hope others do the same.

I've always passed on Goodyear, even before they were woke.

Most "all terrain" tires should be called "no terrain". They don't actually actually excel in any condition.

Yep, better off with street tires, or mud tires. Can't have both.

Well bfg and Goodyear both suck. So, by getting neither you made the right choice.

I’ll say second worst behind Goodyear.

I’m bought Firestone’s Destination AT/2’s for my Ranger and 4Runner. Really good reviews on these tires. I don’t rock crawl and only need to make it up the mountain to the cabin in any type of weather.

I've heard good things about those, Mark.

The funny thing about rubber is that it's light tan/white in its natural state. So all tires you buy are really wearing blackface.

Opraheez, you can't be serious.

I wish there was a substitute for the Goodyear endurance.

B.F. Goodrich tires are Michelins. Michelin has owned B.F. Goodrich since 1989.

well what is the best then? because its the official high desert tire me and my buddies use to traverse the lonely areas in nevada, wyoming, idaho and utah high deserts. I will not use anything else. mine see about 3 thousand miles a year of some of the rottenest, rockiest territory in the western US. don't quite know what you expect.

never had or seen a defect on any of them sets I have ran. beefy sidewalls, tuff against rocks, I think I have 60k on the wore out set on my truck right now. next set of tires will be KO2's can't ask for much more from a tire.

had a set of BFGAT's on my grand Cherokee for 3 years. sold the Jeep with studded tires on it and put the BFG's on my Toy pickup. drove it for 5 years including two trips to Arizona and back. just last spring bought new shoes for the Toy. ymmv

I had BFG’s once, my ass got tired of being bounced all over the pavement...worse that Michelin’s.

I really liked my Goodyear Silent Armor, ran a set for 7 years (40K miles), they stopped making them. Firestone Destinations give me a smooth ride along with enough aggressive tread to do the off roading I do. If you want more aggressive tread get the XT’s.

Goodyears wear out too fast on these WV curvy roads, might be OK for flat land, but suck in the wear column.

I've always had great luck with BFG ATs until I messed up and put a set on my 96 F-250. I had always used Michelin LTXs on it since the OEM Stones. Not good by comparison. Even though the miles were only around 30k on them last winter I was glad when a belt broke and I put a set of Coopers on it. Big upgrade so far. LTXs are still the king for that truck but I got a decent price on the Coopers.

The 4 Runner and FJ Cruiser were great on the BFG ATs so I think it's more of a HD truck application not being ideal. Goodyear tires are not a good tire in my experience.
