I got me one exactly like that one, and a Classic Select - both in 30-06 and both shooters.
180gr Partitions at 1/2 MOA with >100% fill of RL26 gives 2960 fps with no signs of pressure and <63 kpsi according to QL. That load will kill anything on this continent.
My first love is a M70 pre-64, but these Kimber’s are lighter and faster. 1.5 lbs lighter than the FWT, and 2 more inches of barrel. What’s not to love.
