I see that Dunns has these on sale was wondering if anyone likes it. Looks like the reticle is a bit heavier. My eyes are starting to age.

I’ve owned a couple of the 1.75-4s, still have one. Also have a 4-12x40 AO that’s been on several rifles. No issues. My son has a 4-12AO like mine on a 77/22 Target model; been there for a long, long time. When I bought a rifle for my young grandson, I put the 3-9 on it, figgering it was only a matter of time before he dropped it out of a tree. Not yet, but it’s only been through three seasons. Three bucks down so far.

Perfectly usable scopes at a really good price.

I have a 4-12 A.O. and a 6-18 A.O. on rifles for family members. Surprisingly good optics and no problems so far. The Trophy line is solid, no frills, meat and 'taters, blue collar scopes that do the job for not a lot of dough.

I’ll add that the 4-12 I have is airgun rated. It’s withstood at least 1000 rounds on a RWS Air King, recoilless, but pretty “buzzy”. While I’ve not done a formal test of the adjustments, they’ve always responded properly. That applies to the others T XLTs as well.

Don’t know about the new Trophy (no XLT) line.
