My yard has 12 inches of snow on it

Richard, 63 this year. They are a gentle bunch, haven't noticed any high headed ones, few small frames though. I kept a few too many based on disposition rather than conformation... I made a vid earlier, not sure if it's download worthy.

First calf of the year last night!
Cool! Let the all nighters begin!
Sam, is your weather conducive to healthy calves this year. We are seeing highs near sixty, lows around thirty, a bit of breeze now and again, and zero precip in almost three weeks.
Perfect calving weather.
ID, it's perfect right now. Highs 50-60F, lows in the teens. Very little snow or ice on the ground, cows are happy.
We had our bred heifers wintered on a section of wheat stubble and grassy coulees and were late getting them home last Monday. Real late given they started calving two days later!
Great! Happy cows yield happy ranchers and financial security.
Good luck with the calf crop.

Sam, and all for reasons that seemed good at the time, we bred 23 yearling heifers. I hope the calving ease bulls are!

74F today, which according to the weather history beat the old record high for this date by 10 degrees.
Way too warm, kinda spooky.
Richard, have fun with those heifers!
Wednesday?

There's about 5 or 6 more of the little devils. Had to turn on the A/C in both the tractor and pickup this afternoon!
