I like guns where the family line of ownership preceded 1968. ππ

Marlin Marauder in 35 Remington. Have had two pass through my hands over the years and had to sell both during hard times. Maybe I will find another one some day.

Always looking for good .22βs but lately have a hankering for a SW1917 in 45ACP Know the feeling, Cert. Model of 1988 and 25-2 only makes that worse. .45 acp revolvers are a shizzle. Youβre a low down and dirty man dirt...!!
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

Toss up between a Merkel 16/20 with both barrels and a Low Wall 22 Hornet, preferably with a fast enough twist to run 40 V-Max and BT

On my wish list...
1) Model 1873 Winchester, and a pair of 1873 Colt SA revolvers, all chambered in either 38-40 WCF, 44-40 WCF or 45 Colt
2) AR-15 platform rifle, 12" barrel, suppressed, in 300 Blackout
3) AR-15, 18" barrel in 458 SOCOM
4) Marlin 1895SBL.

Idk, can't much seem to get attached to guns that don't ha e family history. I buy them, sell them and buy another. Haven't found a unicorn yet. The family stories are what make them valuable to me.
I just haven't found myself attached to a gun I purchased from a store. Just bought a kimber 6.5. Already thinking of moving it for a wood stock instead of synthetic.
Wood has natural beauty. Synthetics have their place. But a nice wood grain is much more pleasing to my eye.
Maybe a model 70 supergrade in 7-08 or 264 win mag..its been teasing me since the shop got it in.....

1853 or 1863 Sharps Carbine 50-70 conversion with a decent sight for whacking moose. I need 3 more Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 Mags and I can pretty much be set.

I already have more than I have time to play with.
However I have a weak spot for 1911's. Don't even have to be high dollar, like getting them cheap when someone can't get them to run and fixing them up.
Working on a troublesome 90's vintage SA SS loaded now. Its the worst fitted SA I've ever seen, exceptional frame to slide fit but the rest of it is a mess. Got it for $400.00 the owner said he left it with a "gunsmith" twice and it got worse each trip......

Red pad , tang safety Ruger , 6.5 swede for a reasonable price. 99f savage 358 win. 7600 carbine, 308. All fairly common but going prices are insane
