I stumbled upon this one on YouTube. I'm posting it here not for the commentary, but as a lesson on being vigilant. The female off duty cop was watching her surroundings and got to her gun fast. The vid serves as a good reminder for us all.
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. Winston Churchill.
Thanks. I suspect that, as a police officer, she was hesitant to drop the phone because she was thinking of it more as a radio (ETA: to get help) than as an expensive toy. It is not tethered like a shoulder mike that can be dropped and easily retrieved without damage. That doesn't make it best in 20-20 hindsight given the way the events played out, but it is a better explanation of the reluctance.

Odd, she was cognizant enough to clear the malfunction while holding the damned phone, but not aware enough to drop it and acquire a proper 2 hand grip? Pizz poor shooting for sure. A reminder once again, it matters not a bit who draws the quickest or shoots the fastest, it's who connects first.
He finds interesting videos and does a decent job of counting time and editing videos to slow them down, freeze frames and repeat important stuff. But, I find his commentary to be somewhat textbookish and not indicative of a lot of real-world perspective.

That applies to a whole bunch of firearms-topic Tubers. I watch damn few of them and almost always with the sound off. If there's worthwhile content, I'll see it. If I listen to a babbling fool, I'll turn it off immediately.

Was good , she is still alive but I'll bet it all gets relived and rethought by her sometime to come. Attempt on her life? Or carjacking? Better watch more than her 6 they had to be waiting down the street for her to come out their timing to good just to be chance. To and she didn t plug the dick.

Reading his resume reveals a chit ton of private classes and shooting schools. But no actual experience. Take that for what it's worth.

Maybe... And yet America has been fighting a global war on terrorism for twenty years now which has produced more experienced war fighters in this country since 1945. And maybe policing a country with terror threats, active shooters, increased inner city violent crimes and a general attitude of [bleep] the police had forced more cops into gun fights than ever before. That same set of circumstances applies to legally armed good guy citizens who refuse to be sheep and place the safety of their families in someone else's hands. It would be a guess, but I bet there are more people with some amount of actual gunfighting experience living in America today than ever before. There might even be a few on the Campfire. It isn't too hard to tell the players from the fans.
