Anybody have any experience with Fords new 7.3 Gas motor? Wife is due for a new ride later this year, we have always had suburbans and tahoes but am considering a 4 door f250 this time. Not interested in a diesel for a run around town pickup but would like the ability to haul the dump trailer or heavy equipment trailers as needed.
I have a work truck provided by my employer and a 25 year old payed off beater for home use, etc. Would also use it for out of state hunting trips/vacations.....out of town baseball and softball games, etc. I suppose they don’t get “great” mileage but I still think it’s the better buy vs. the diesel. Thanks.

Hopefully someone with experience will chime in.
Not much info on them presently out there.

Don't have one, but talked to a guy who did. Seems like he said it was a 13/15 GPM vehicle.
I'll be interested in the replies here.

The sewer contractor on my project just bought one three weeks ago. He’s averaging 11.8 miles per gallon. He said it has all the power guy could want though.

Only $8150.00 for a crate motor Not too terribly bad, but for that kind of jack, I'd go for a 521 stroker.

Outta my price range! I’m financing the Yeti. 60 months, same as cash!

Sharp truck. That looks like the same color blue they used to paint the Ford engine blocks with.
