Hello ! I need some help to find a way to quick attach a sling on my Stag . I has a A 2 stock (don't the brand ) but the sling attachment is fixed there is no stud only the fixed sling loop .The loop appears to be molded into the stock and not removable. No problem on the hand guard . I have been tieing it on the butt stock end when hunting then have to un tie for bench shooting . I do not want to use a snap which would be loose and noisy . Some type of short fabric beld to go through the sling loop that has the quick attach female port . My net search has not shown one so far . Thanks

Don't you just need a loop of sexy pink paracord, attached to the sling to loop through the loop?

Or use a simple webbing loop, or....

Don’t know why that won’t go hot but copy and paste the link above.
The sling loop comes out by removing the bottom screw on the butt plate.

Here may be a possible option. Seems expensive for what it is, somebody may make a cheaper version.

Thats cool. Didn't know they made those. May have to order a couple. Not sure I have a use at the moment but....

One could use the old M1/M14 web sling pieces too

So, he should be able to simply get in through butt (LOL) to remove the A2 loop... TWR's solution for the win.... I think I saw one like it with a QR cup...

I don't know about you but I don't like ARs slung in the traditional "over the shoulder" position like a bolt hunting rifle etc. I prefer a diagonal across the body sling with an AR. I have a rifle with an A2 stock and I'm going to try the method outlined in this post, using a threaded (grovtec) QD point. Just something for ya to consider...

Added for reference. Nearly what the OP originally sought.
