Those long Maglights could make a good club. They ought to be good for something, because the older ones damned sure didn't light much up. You can buy LED bulbs for them. Very bright. My 3 D cell has been upgraded thusly, still duller than hell. They ARE formidable weapons though. Almost to the point of carrying a real light and the Maglight just as a knocker.

Did he carry such a knife? They both did

Is it the Malice Green anodized red memorial flashlight?

Anyone who is not dedicated to training and always carrying a handgun is fooling themselves. A stout walking stick is OK for airports and courthouses.

Surprised we haven’t seen mention of the good old tire iron.

I don't see where anyone mentioned a good short barreled pump shotgun "other than a handgun"...

Upgraded maybe fifteen years ago with an LED bulb. I think I've got a 2 D cell one the same color and an aluminum colored 2 C cell. Any of the three could be used for CQB. None of them are worth a shixt for illumination.

For decades accessible in both my house and truck are PR 24's. I've had them since my days as an MP in the 70's and 80's. I was an instructors in there use for a number of years. They are an effective tool. Not sure of their legality anymore in the vehicle but could care less.
