Should the majority illegitimate congress begin debate on taking the remaining defense of an honorable, free people away the last straw has broken. It will be our duty to put into action a true March on Washington. January 6, 2021 was a very minor reminder. Have we not the arms to enforce our intent to remain free we are then enslaved. The next spontaneous street action requires planning. God bring to us those gifted and willing. Should Illigitimate Congress attempt such an illegal and unconstitutional act as is obviously coming, we will be required to recall with due force their power and presence. We are not beholding to such acts. The time is near that the socialist enemy will force war upon us. There can be no more mercy, for mercy is what free men have shown for decades as this movement of the enemy has used means never granted, to rule the enslaved rather than govern the willing. I wouldn't have a problem stashing guns here and there in certain hidden locations where you can get them in an emergency, but just hiding them so that you can say "umm, no, officer, I don't have any of those guns. They're icky!"... no.

while I do not own a AR, if I did and if I had owned that rifle prior to a new law being passed, I would not worry about it. Clause 3 of Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution states that Congress is prohibited from passing ex post facto laws. The states are prohibited in clause 1 of Article 1, Section 10. That means that laws cannot be passed that affect a citizen retroactively. The SC has ruled that there are some exceptions where guns and tax's are concerned. Those deal mostly with felons, Tax's, and mental illness. So if you become mentally ill they could require you to give up all of your fire arms or if you were convicted of a felony. In that case, a felon is not allowed to posses a fire arm. Tax's have nothing to do with possession of fire arms, but it is an exception to the constitution regarding the ex post facto rule.

So, if I had an AR, I would not hide it.

Had stuff stashed for years. Got enough at the house and in the cars to get the party well started. Nobody but a fool keeps all their eggs in one basket. And best I remember, the Good Lord was pretty unhappy with that dude that buried all his stuff and didn’t use it. I stash for a rainy day, but not at the expense of being armed at home and abroad.
