Alamo Precision will be glad to make you one.

My old 700 classic is over there now. Was factory barrel in a Bansner, will be Bart barrel and re-bedded into a Mc game warden. And re-bedded into the Bansner.......I may never switch the stocks but I CAN lol.

If it shoots near as well as the 300RUM they just built me it will be a hammer.

I understand new rifle or custom build, but man, it'd be tough to beat a pre-64 or old pre-salt Browning Safari with long extractor, i personally CGAFF about market value, mine are not for sale, good luck to you, H-4831 under either 200 or 220gr Partition will do it all for you to an easy 400+ yards in the game fields/mountains.

I have a Lyman receiver peep on one a pre-64 300 H&H, a little daylight over my 400 yard gong which is 18"x20" put the 220gr Partitions in a nice 6 inch rounded group well centered in the bottom one third of the gong, that's spine hold and dead animals all season long, with NO rear bag, just a front rest with rifle held in hand much like slumped over a pack, down tree or rock.

The whop reported back to me says the old Holland Super 30 is still packing serious freight at that range with the 220's leaving the rifle at 2750 fps.

I have had a few 300 H&H rifles. Found a classic Remington 700 years ago - sold it when I had Redneck rebarrel a Model 70 7mm STW into a 300 H&H. That rifle is the most accurate I own and has accounted for several nice elk and deer over the years ...

Then I found my perfect 300 H&H -- an early Sako L61R. That rifle is amazing -- light handy and feels good in the hands. I have yet to bloody it, but that will come sometime soon.

Still trying to figure out if I should sell my Model 70.

Yup .... There was a fellow showing off a very nice Browning Safari in 300H&H last week on CGN.

Many of those 300s got the WBY treatment.

I'm talking about within the past 5-10 years. I am pretty sure I saw them advertised.

You're right. I did see a Shot Show X-Bolt 300H&H for sale here late last year. Not sure if it sold or not.

OK Geedub, you can pull off the Camo crocs as long as you have that Randall! God but I'd love to kill a pig with that knife!
