That little Ruger lays em in there pretty good. There is a whitetail labeled for a 55gr ttsx in November.

I love that little gun.

I'm going to get a .223 of my own I think.

Headed to the game fair today and hoping I have the strength to not bring home a puppy.

I should have clarified.

The 50's we've used out of the .223. The 55TTSX out of my 22-250.

Thanks.

You'll like those 62's. Gruff used them quite a bit.

T- I made a pair of them on M70 SA push feeds. The actions have a 3+ inch magazine box and feed the Swift flawlessly. One has a 8 twist Brux barrel in an Edge while the other has an 8 twist Rock 5R barrel in the original lightweight wood stock. They weigh within an ounce of each other.

Clark- Gruff is the one who told me once you try them you will like 'em.....

I have had great luck shooting 75 VLD's in the Brux barrel. I am in the process of checking out 75 grain Swift SII's in that rifle. A Swift shooting Swift bullets would be awesome!!

I have been shooting monos only in the Rock. Both 55's and 62's shoot tiny groups in that rifle. I am impatiently waiting for Nosler to get off their butts and start making the 55 grain E-tip. With a .350 BC they should be sweet...

Mm,

Thank you sir. I see Winchester currently builds them on the m70 fwt action. I could like that.

They're building Swifts or they're building 22-250's?

I've been using .22 caliber rifles for deer off and on since it became legal. A good bullet placed in the boiler room fromm a .22 has outperformed .270/30-06 and other larger calibers with plain old soft points. I can't remember one that hasn't been DRT with a .22.

For those who want to pull a Texas heart shot, go big. The rest will be just fine with a .22 and good bullets.

Sure agree with you White Bear. And if you go to the faster twists, you will be even more impressed with the results....

It is a .22-250 but never mind because it's a 14 twist. WTF?

Are you serious? other choice was the glock 43 but felt more comfortable with the m&p.
