It was a good year for both but my "free time" didn't really coincide with either.

Man, this cool weather is really kick starting things. Kind of funny-the local geese that loafed nonchalantly all over the area are on their guard now. The guys have been hitting them hard in the area since the early goose season opened. Apparently these big birds don't particularly care to be shot at!

I saw two fawns I've seen several times this summer. Their spots are gone and they look more like deer and less like little play toys now. Two cool nights in a row probably ran out the local hummingbirds.

I saw a big flock of red winged blackbirds heading into a swamp for the evening a couple days ago.

Fall is falling fast. Time to go hunting guys.

I just happen to have a big zip lock bag of .308 brass and I do not own a .308 any more . I'd by happy to send it "Nort"

My wife bought me a .357 Maximum barrel for my Contender Carbine last Christmas so that will likely be my choice this year .

Let me know on the brass ...........
