What do you plan to use for construction Paul?

Hadn't really got that far Tom.

Would need to be light enough to move in there so, probably treated 2x2 &/or 4s & treated ply exterior, possible tin roof.

Blue foam insulation & sealed by that cheap thin finishing sheeting.

2 shooting windows & 1 door.

1 issue I just thought of, is that it needs to be light enough to move into the back 40, but not so light as to blow over.

Basically, I have no idea !!

grin

Ground anchors are your friend.

Or just put up a solid canopy to hold the snow and put your portable under it.

I bought a portable blind this summer. Hoping to hunt out of it this fall. I was just talking to my son's buddies, and we will be doing a range trip in a couple weeks here, and a run up north to scout for deer season too. Man, am I getting the itch! Lots of shooting from the goose hunters nearby this morning.

Is that the same facility Berettaman runs his Youth Outdoors Day event from? Very nice facility.

It's a busy place, lots of youth activities going on there all summer.

I like it! I got those Fiocchi rounds for free so I like that even better! grin That hand load was from the kids Ruger American. I haven't even tried to load for this yet. So far the .223 has been the easiest for me to get good results with. The 7x57 gives me fits. But it shoots Federal blue box rounds right at MOA at 100 and 200 yds, so I shouldn't complain.

Yep, for sure Tom !

That lake always has "large shouldered" fish, but even the small guys are packing it on !

His shooting was not good, his control over his frustration and anger was more than I'm capable of though. That was one good thing.

Dave, next time you come to Alex, let me know! I will buy you a beer or a coffee or something.

Yes, that is the same place. I might go out there tonight as my kids are in the summer league and have to finish their rounds.
