Thanks guys. That was a crazy amount of snow in that short amount of time. Probably ended up being 12-15 hours to pile it up. We were hunting 40 minutes SE of Duluth/Superior fairly close to the south shore of Lake Superior. They generally get more snow that way because the warm air comes across the lake and dumps that snow. But, not usually that much more!!

It's all part of the adventure. The boys we brought along are already talking about next year. laugh Hooked some more!!

Best wishes to all our members who hang their hats on this remarkable thread Dave and the Chickenbuckers have been gracious enough to keep up and running for us. My next communications will be coming from our new home in Baxter, Minnesota in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. I've been up there for a couple days now, but tomorrow will be the final push, thanks to UHaul. Merry Christmas guys. Best wishes to each and every one of you.

Hanging out with the family & friends Tom.

Just had gall bladder & hernia surgery, a week ago, so not allowed to do anything rowdy !

Buddy & Doug threw the shack on the hard water Saturday.

Spent yesterday gathering a nice feed !

Take it easy on the backswing with the hook set, Paul! Heal up!

Our ice is ready on lake of the woods as well. As soon as we can get out there.

Merry Christmas to all.

Paul, take it easy and heal strong. IF you have a bottle or two of Canadian Blue around please have one for me. It's been way to long since I have been to camp (cabin). I will return the favor as soon as I can!

A belated Merry Christmas to everyone on here. We finally got the internet working at the new house. Looking forward to exploring the Brainerd Lakes area next spring. North Long, the Whitefish Chain, and definitely some hits on the smaller lakes around here, and Leech Lake's a scant hour away. Gonna get a new used Lund in the spring and do some serious fishing. Once I learn the lakes around here a bit, if anyone wants to come down (or up) and join me for some fishing, let's talk.

New Year's eve day was our last visit to the old house. A couple boxes of junk removed from the garage, some cleaning, and the keys were handed off to our new tennant. Mike's a buddy of my son, and hunts deer with us every fall. I was lucky enough to be there two years ago when he got his first deer. He's a good kid and will be buying the house outright this spring. Lots of memories in that house. My wife was very teary eyed when we said goodbye to our neighbors. New adventures abound in the Brainerd lakes area for us. 'Hope to be done emptying boxes and getting settled in within two weeks here. So much to do.

Happy New Year's guys. Here's to a great 2020 for eveyone.
