Have to get my G2 trigger fixed, it’s way too heavy for precision shooting. Thinking of using Stratton down in Utah, I’m using some of his scope bases & like his work & dealing with him.
Here’s my set up G2 frame with a 21” T/C 22 Hornet barrel mounted in the black plastic carbine stock. Have a 6-24x currently on top as I’ve been working up a field load. I can get 3/4” MOA for 5 shots consistently bench rested off bags but it takes everything I have working around that trigger break.
With a clean 2.5 lb trigger this rig will be a true 1/2” MOA tack driver.
Anyone else had a T/C trigger done, results?

I've had HausofArms do three G2 trigger jobs for me. All turned out perfect and got my triggers down to 2 lbs.

I just ordered the springs from Mike Bellm and did it myself, really easy if you buy the spring pliers. I wanted 3 pounds and got just under that.

It's easy to do with the Bellm springs. I have done a bunch. Note.. “Stratton Custom trigger jobs are accomplished by squaring up the top of the sear notch on a surface grinder, hand honing the face of the sear notch to the proper angle and a giving it a smooth even finish where contact is made with the hammer. Honing and smoothing other moving parts and replacing the factory trigger spring with a custom Sc spring to achieve the desired pull weight. I also do a complete cleaning of the receiver and lubricate all internal parts. Lastly, if installed, I adjust the trigger over travel screw” He does a bit more than dropping a set of springs in, apparently. 41

Bellms are worth a try. If they aren't good enough, you can always have it cleaned up by a smith. I did a whole bellm kit and the difference is remarkable. I can guarantee I won't have light strikes anymore. That was what I was trying to fix. The trigger was a huge bonus.

Sorry if it came across as just changing out springs. A little stoning may be needed also. Just follow the instructions on Bellms page. It really is easy.
