Pops had Mark Penrod do a rebarrel many yrs ago.
Straight taper stainless.
Action is an older one ( rifle nought new in 70s ) and he never got a stock for it ...,well he did, B&C and the action screw spacing is different.
Dunno if I should finish it or not.
Theres another old savage lefty that was a 308 hvy bbl.
Just occured to me i might be able to use the stock from it.
That one in 6mm Norma BR. Has the nut.
