Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department arrested two individuals Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance.
Around 11:00 a.m. a 38-year-old male and a 47-year-old male were paying fines at City Court when an officer noticed the strong odor of marijuana coming from the two individuals.
After a brief investigation and search, LPD officers found both marijuana and amphetamines on the two according to a media release.
Both individuals were placed under arrest on possession of a controlled substance charges.

Not uncommon to read Drug runners or mules on the freeway speeding smoking dope getting pulled over and busted.

Have seen people pull change out at stores and openthier hand with a baggy of powder mixed in . Some try to sheepishly hide it , others didn't seem to care .
Was in a tire store once and guy ahead of me was pulling out change and a baggy of weed fell on the floor . No one noticed so I put my foot over it and leaned over and told him real low what had just happened . He looked at me puzzled , repeated it and told him to bend over and I would move my foot .
Dunce picks it up and holds it up and looks at it before sticking it in his pocket and thanking me .
Guy at the counter looking at me , I said you can't help some people .
He said he would have kicked him in the face .
I didn't reply and left wondering how the hell a high school football star got so far off track .
He looked like a ghost oh what he had been . Obviously weed was a minor problem .

Considering the strong smell of grass, I don't know how anyone thinks they can hide it. You can smell a person who's been smoking it from 20 yds away. I know a guy who smokes and he's convinced many people that it's his aftershave. Yeah, right.
