I thought about getting some of the Accubonds but I have a good stock of Partitions and Ballistic Tips in the same weight range. I am weak for Partitions it appears.

lol.....

I'm embarrassed to say how many 270 cal, 150 Pt's I have. I have enough BT's and Pt's in 5-6 calibers and a variety of weights to keep my freezer full for several lifetimes, me thinks.

I'm trying to wean myself off of SPS...........

They must have had a boat load of those .25 cal 115 and 120 NPT's. Good price and they're still there. Surprising. I got my share.

Those 180 .30 cal NPT's didn't last long. About what one would expect.

Yep, thats what one should expect. The 180's are probably the most popular weight for the 30 cal partition. They never last long there and they keep raising the damn prices

Yeah, Partitions are getting real pricey. Almost have to wait until SPS has some and sometimes their prices aren't that great.

I keep coming back to these .25 cal NPT's. Those prices are great for Partitions and there seems to be an unlimited supply.

You quarter bore dudes better stock up while you can.

I’ve been watching SPS hoping for some 210 gr .338 partitions to show up. I bought some last March in a local auction. I got 250 gr. partitions as well, but my rifle likes the 210s a lot better, and so does my shoulder. I’ve got several 210 TTSX’s as well, but my rifle preferred the 210 portions over all others.

How many do you need? I’ve got a decent pile of them.

Almost makes you want to buy a 25-06. The last time I bought 200gr partitions was 4 years ago. They were $13.45/ bag. I should have bought 2,000 instead of 600!!!

I had a 25-06, traded it. Good round. I still have a Brux barreled LA 700 that shoots great. I can push 100 TTSX at 3,260 fps over max dose of H-100V and it shoots that load into sub MOA, like one hole groups.

It also does well with 120 NPT's, MOA or better. For some reason, the 115 NPT's don't quite go MOA, but not that far over. The most accurate load is the 115 NBT over H-4350 at 2,950 fps. Not as fast as the 100 TTSX load, but both loads do kill'em dead, DRT or DROT (dead right over there).

The TTSX load is pretty close to 25-06 territory. Now, one could lean on the bigger round and out run the smaller one, but 3,260 fps with a 100 gr. bullet is pretty good for a Roberts, not bad for a 25-06. And with H-100V, no pressure signs, in fact it's a tested, published load, not a unique 24 HCF load... blush

grin.

Let me get back with you. I have another load worked up for 210 TTSX’s to try out. If I can’t get the accuracy I want from it, if you have a box of 50 you’d sale I can make those last as I only use this rifle for spring bear.

Easy. Easy. Easy. I have a good amount of them and wouldn’t mind them going to get used up. I love them myself. They’re one of my favorites for elk.

I just picked up 200. These won't last.

Better jump quick if you shoot 140 NPT's out of a 7mm.

Man, even prices on the blems have jumped substantially. If those were 140 Accubonds instead of Partitions I’d be getting more. My 7mm08 loves the 140 Accubonds.
