Sitting about 15 ft in the pines myself with a excellent veiw down slope into them to the south...


Dekes by the Roosting area in the clear firebreak..
Birds been getting pizzed on all night thunderstorms.
They cant stand being in the wet underbrush .
Hit open areas and shake off like wet dogs after fly down.

I know their are at least 3 birds in this unlogged mature pine roosting area.
Aint heard a gobble yet.
Not even gonna make noise till I hear em fly down and they start making calls.


I'm a Dick using a aspect of a animals nature and habits to kill em..

Birds are silent.
Sometimes they stay on roost in weather like this for awhile.
Aint heard no fly downs.
All the other birds normally greeting the day are silent.
Aint even heard no crows.

I think slumlord is on apple pie detail or some schit.

He got like 4000 apples from his play the food bank gig.


Schit bit him in the azz when mrs slumlord seen em all and got a idea I'm pretty sure.

Called him yesterday.
On peeling and slicing apple detail.


He will probably spend the day having to make pies and deliver em to people all over the county....

Animals and birds seem to be 1 to 2 hrs delayed in getting their day started.
Crows are the 1st usually to get going.
They been cawing and flying for about 15 or so mins.
