I had a spike buck attack an 8 point I had down. Kept gouging at his white belly fur. Had to wave it off after a couple mins. Though he was going gut him for me.

I loved taking doubles like that on post when it was legal 5 6 yrs ago.

Nother bird in the area
Just let the one you shot do the curly shuffle.
Shot one flogging the schit outta one standing on top of it.

2 back of the bootheel stomps couple mins later.
Pita carrying 2 Toms out.

Last double I took was on this drop zone in the SW corner.

Coulda been a triple if it was legal.
Had ta scare off the 3rd one.

2 11" plus beards that morning.
On the wall of fans shame at the house.

Got a 10.5 and a 11.75 from last year outta the 3.

If I can kill one with a nice big ole fan this year.
I might mount it with the other 3 on the wall.

I have hunted and killed turkey with longbows, recurves, rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders.

To heck with the purists, go out and have fun. If it wasn't for the fun of the spring season I would say kill them all. They wrecks lawns, hay pens and carry a disease that kills young calves.

I’m thinking about trying Power Bait with a spinning rod. Why not offend two factions of purists at one time?

Lol!!!

Set up a buncha june bugs tied off with fishing line to a swivel stake.

Get hens running around in circles after em.
Toms be chasing the hen that is chasing a june bug.

Some of the funniest schit is watching hens out bugging in fields.

Bout 2 more weeks here they will start feeding on insects as the weather warms up more.
