Saw this interesting double photo after the death of 99-year old Prince Philip, announced by his wife Queen Elizabeth, who had been married 73 years. Pretty remarkable.

I guess people can say or think how they want about the Monarchy in England, but that couple seemed to serve their country with a sense of pride and proper dignity that will probably never be matched again in our lifetime. Definitely old school class and dedication to their cause.

Funny how Americans are so tied up with what the monarchy does, to the point where you as a people even attempt to fill the big aching hole where the monarchy was with "celebrities" who are treated by your countrymen/media as if they were "royal", you are the last peoples one would expect to be fascinated to the point of sychofancy.
