I’d sell or trade some my primers and powder but I’m just a regular dude. I’m not going take a chance and mail something that requires a hazmat and try to covertly avoid doing it.

There must be a bazillion people on gunbroker that are gazmat certified.

Online, midway, hodgdon and powder valley to buy, they each have different limits and have limited choices, which makes it hard to by quantity to spread the hazmat. I've never even looked at gun broker.

Snagged 4 pounds of Shooters World Precision off Mid South yesterday. Final cost with shipping and hazmat was about 36 bucks a pound. Not a great deal, but about as good as you can expect for mail order powder right now.

Yep, a little cheaper than varget too. Gonna try it out in a 308.

Looks like powder valley has h335 and Ramshot Tac and some other odds and ends in stock if anyone is looking right now. Better hurry on the Tac.

Picked up a pound of IMR 4198 at my legs. Sombitch was $40.99 plus tax. Didn't have any at home and have been looking for it, so I bought it.

I haven't seen powder on the shelf since late summer 2020. Primers, either.

I have supplies for the stuff I currently own and shoot .. mostly.

The "shortage" hits me when I want to try something new. I don't have powders for the magnums / long range cartridges. I have one build and a couple planned purchases on hold waiting to see if things break loose. I have one rifle I'm trying to work with, have some powder, but maybe not the right one. If I don't find something with the bullets / powders I can get, when I run out of things on the shelf to try, it gets sold. I'm not keeping any paperweights.

Hah. Tried to put some H335 in my cart. Was showing as in stock. Blew up "out of stock" when I got to the nitty-gritty.

Had this happen before, it sucks. I did score a jug of Hunter from PV the other day.

Happens more than you are allowed to buy at PV, had been able to get a couple Winchester and VV powders a month ago.
