I've always had great luck with IMR 7828 in a 264. I've tried others but always come back to 7828.

I have not tried Ramshot in my .264. My go to load uses Reloader 26, pushing a Barnes 127 gr LRX at 3,220.

I've used 7828 with success and RL-33 with great success.

I have not gotten to it yet but I am going to give it a try in the 257 Weatherby, the data looks good and where I think it will come on is with 128-130 grain loads even though there is no data for them.

LRT should work in the 264 at least with the heavier bullets. It is in the R33, Retumbo and US 869 burn rate range and these all can have uses in the 264. I would start with the Weatherby 120 grain data and proceed cautiously especially if your 264 does not have much or any free bore. The larger caliber may off set the freebore issue some but no way of knowing with out pressure data. I think there is data for the 26 Nosler but this may not help much except as a point of comparison. I would also think it would do well with the 6.5x300 Weatherby. The velocities in the 6.5x284 are surprising, I guess the density is what makes it work.

Nosler has data - pretty much duplicates US-869. Never seen LRT on the shelves up here.

RL-33 experience I've had have good accuracy, but the heat into the barrel was ridiculous. Not barrel in 1-2 shots of a heavier Sendero barrel. With Ramshot Magnum, it takes 5-6 firings to generate the same level of heat. For that reason I stopped using it. Has anyone else seen the same thing with RL33?

I use Ramshot Magnum in my 264 WM for the Barnes 127 TTSX, and RL-33 for the 140 Accubonds. I have not paid any attention to barrel heat. It is a hunting rifle so I don't shoot it much.
