Fellow was looking at a house for sale on line and it had this picture. We can't figure out what it is so does anybody know? And to fend off the obvious, yes, we've identified the tan stuff at the bottom as a carpet and the boxy thing on the left as a gun safe. Metal frame that doesn't unfold, a wooden panel or boards and what appears to be some sort of clear covering like plexiglass. Doesn't look like the bent wooden pole on top is attached to the safe but is just sitting there as a place to store it.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Whatever that metal frame is meant for, it apparently is supposed to remain permanently on the angle it's on as the base of each 'leg' is cut and welded onto the square base plates like it is leaning now.

Reminds me of that frame they have at Lowe's/Home Depot for their saw to ride on though I haven't really looked very close at it.

Unfinished gun display case? This is my guess too. Looks heavy, why have a router table or similar tool in the house?

Whatever it is, it seems overbuilt.

Some sort of semi-secure display case. Hole near the bottom right for a light or electrical cords.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

My first impression was a squat rack or Smith machine, but the wood back and acrylic would kind of get in the way. Maybe there is something on the other side since the diagonals would brace against a load on the other side..??

First off, I don't think that is plexiglass on the back of that wood- I think the light coming through the window is making it look shiny, but it isn't. Just the back side of the wood illuminated. Look at the front of the safe and you see the same effect. Judging by the way the frame is built, I would think whatever it is would be revealed by turning it around. Probably some sort of display or a frame for a work table- the short legs mount against a wall and the other end would need legs attached to support it at whatever height was necessary...

Does the bent wooden rod on top fit the hole in lower right of the panel?
