I draw the line at Dave's Ghost Pepper.
Takes me a while to tune up for it
But even after some acclimation, i'll stop at 6 drops per bowl of chili.

Stoners hooked me up at Taco Bell. i got a big mug full of Diablo packets.

I'm not a hot sauce guy at all but I like Frank's "Red Hot". Kinda funny because its not hot at all but has good pepper vinegar flavor. Good in chili, on collard greens, whatever.

Maybe they named it that so those of us that don't like hot food but like pepper taste can feel badazz.

In Utah, ketchup is considered hot sauce.

Yes. Hot sauces (Cajun in particular) are nothing but peppers, vinegar and salt.

From that point forward, it's just what else you want to add or age it in.

Two things about hot sauce, and hot peppers.

If your mouth starts on fire, put a little sugar on the tip of your tongue.

If your hands become irradiated working with hot peppers, soak them in milk.

Crystal and Louisiana are pretty standard, Louisiana hotter for more kick.

We have been crushing the Tabasco chipotle lately though. Good stuff!

BW3 Blazin wings will smoke the azzhole next day but eatin Daves Ghost Pepper won't.

First time w the ghost pepper stuff I was worried about next day.

Thank goodness it was not as expected.

Lots of salsa w medium heat over time can lead to a soak in bathwater to relieve the itch.

Learned that way back.

Moderation in all things seems to be the ticket.

Some hot sauces are just bull chit, chest beating, macho crap IMO.

I was eating buffalo wings before most had heard of them. They were hot t the time, & in a few years time there was extra hot, xxxtra hot, atomic hot, & 3 mile Island.

Few, if any really enjoy them, just a game.

Now many folks out of a hundred, hell, a thousand, tolerate, much less enjoy some the crazy stuff that available these days? A legit question... IMO.

A hot with good flavor that ties in nicely with foods is 👍👍👍.
You points about hot for bragging rights are spot on.

Seafoam on a chicken wing would be a better option than some of these hot sauces people rave about.
