Was checking various websites for Reloder 26 yesterday and found a site that had 8lb jugs at $799.00 each. That's right $100/lb. I laughed thinking they would never sell it at that price. Checked today and it is on backorder. Can't believe anyone is so desperate that they would pay triple the regular price but I guess someone did.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

I was in a shop today. 100 packs of CCI 200 primers were $35 with a limit of 2 per customer
1 pound of IMR4064 was $75.

Sounds like Bruno. I've seen something I wanted, and reasonably priced ONE TIME since I learned of their existence about 15 years ago.

Glad I learned my lesson on the last one under O'bummer. Will not get caught out again looking for primers and certain powders. I have been selling my excess however as I am moving. Folks are very surprised and can't understand selling for what it should cost. Helping some brothers out.

I was prepared reasonably well for myself and keep my eye out for normal price goods showing up to help out friends. This morning I scored a brick of cci br-4's for 57+ tax that's about the pre covid going rate. The stuff is occasionally out there but you don't have time to think about it. The fact is a guy working his job doesn't stand a chance to get anything. None of it lasts till you get off work. Just the way it is. Mb

Local sporting good shop (Red's Trading Post) had 30-40# of H4350 for $69.99/lb. Thought they were nuts, it was all gone in 10 days.

I wonder what sort of production glut we need to fix that..

I bought a pound of RL26 by mistake and would like to trade it for RL19 or Big Game.

Got an ad yesterday from a local gun store, Uncle Lee's, which is owned by Buds's Gun Shop. They had primers...............CCI small pistol at $6.99 a 100, $69.99 a brick, and CCI 34 large rifle primers for $7.99 a 100 or $79.99 a brick. Limit one per customer.
I'd call that a very good deal when compared to the rip-off deals that are the norm these days.

Primers at last weekends gunshow....150 a K. Can find now and then at shops for 60 a K LOL.
Just found my old Federal Large Rifle.....1K. Reserve bought during Clinton BS.
Powder is 30 bucks a lb at shops. One shop has quite a bit. His loaded ammo prices however are insane.
Show had CCI minimags at 10 bucks a 100 pack.

Our community has a weekly sales brochure that lists items for sale around the area, including guns, ammo etc. Got my updated one yesterday. One ad was for 100, 223/5.56 rounds, price $750. I am assuming that it was a typo, but as I do not need any, I didn't call to find out.
